This is the official website for Environment Writer (EW) newsletter. Journalists can sign up to receive the html e-mail version of EW, published 10 times per year.

Environment Writer is intended primarily for journalists and editors who write about environment, natural resource, energy, and other issues, national and international, and also for journalism educators.

EW began publication in 1989 as a 6-page monthly print newsletter. It currently is published by the Metcalf Institute for Marine and Environmental Reporting, of the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Oceanography.
