Aileo Weinmann is a graduate student at Michigan State University's School of Journalism, where he will earn a master's degree in 2005.

As a graduate assistant at the university's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism, Weinmann is Editor of EJ Magazine.

Weinmann graduated with honors in American Culture from the University of Michigan in 1996. He has worked as an editor with Ziff Davis's Smart Busines magazine (formerly PC Computing), and in the winter of 2004 he worked as a reporter for Micnigan Public Radio network and as news editor for Eastern Michigan University's college newspaper, Echo.

Weinmann was a Council for the Advancement of Science Writing 2003 New Horizons Fellow. He was a summer 2004 teaching assistant on Michigan State's study abroad program, Australia: Media, Environment and Culture.
