Camille Rose Feanny

Camille Rose Feanny is a Producer with CNN's Science & Technology Unit in Atlanta, Ga., where she has covered domestic and international science issues for more than six years. A native of Jamaica, Ms. Feanny immigrated to the United States to pursue her education in Miami, Fl. She received her baccalaureate degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University, and concurrent Masters degrees in Marine Policy and International Relations (Intl. Economics) from the University of Miami.

Ms. Feanny's diversified career includes work on development and on administration of environment, education, and other international projects. She has more than 10 years experience in the broadcast news, academic, and entertainment fields.

Her current work involves CNN, CNN International, Headline News, and other related networks. She was a principal producer on the "CNN Military Desk" during the network's coverage of the September 11, 2001, terrorism tragedy, and during wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Her professional successes include an Emmy Nomination, and two Genesis Awards. She plans to continue her career "at the forefront of the journalistic process," while also pursuing her academic interests. Ms Feanny's academic and professional work has involved her having traveled extensively throughout Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, North Africa, and North America.
