Randy Showstack is a Staff Writer for Eos, a weekly newspaper published by the American Geophysical Union. At the paper for the past six years, Randy covers a wide range of geoscience and environment issues.

An alumnus of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Randy previously served as communications director for American Rivers, a national environmental organization. Earlier, he was editor-in-chief of Whole Life Times, a national monthly magazine covering holistic health and environmental issues.
